Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies started her acting profession at 12 when she began attending local casting call. Her first appearances were in commercials for companies like Virgin Mobile. Gillies debut television appearance was as a character who appeared for three shows of The Black Donnellys. Gillies has said that she wasn't allowed to view the entire program in entirety since her parents believed it was not appropriate for her at the time. (citation required) In 2008 she was cast in minor roles in The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. In summer of that year she was also cast as Lucy in the Goodspeed show of Robert Brown's brand new musical 13, alongside her future Victorious co-star Ariana Grande. After that, 13 was moved to Broadway, which made it the first Broadway production with an entire band and cast consisting of teenagers. Her two biggest numbers, "Opportunity", and "It cannot be true" was then followed by smaller roles in songs such as "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready" and "It's a Good Thing. Gillies worked with the program until it ended on January 4th, 2009. Elizabeth Elizabeth Elizabeth
